The nonprofit seeks $20,300 through community event support, new memberships, general donations and sponsorship of six fishing charters.
The gathering is intended to bring together 100 attendees. The event has a budgeted cost of $12 per person, and Mountain Mike's Fallbrook has agreed to cover half. A4M is seeking $600 from one or more business sponsors to cover its remaining $6 per attendee.
Fundraising Event Goals:
100 attendees including veteran-owned business owners, veteran executives, local employers, military supporters and community members.
$600 to cover the $6 per attendee.
Enroll eligible 12 new qualified members at $25 each, generating $300 in membership support.
$5,000 in general donations. Contributors may designate their gifts for California or Texas based fishing charters.
Raise $14,400 to fully fund six three-quarter-day bottom-fishing charters departing from Oceanside, California. Each charter is budgeted at $2,400 and designed for 15 service members, creating 90 fishing experiences across all six trips. Businesses and or individuals may sponsor an entire charter for $2,400 or co-sponsor half of a charter for $1,200.
